Subject: fitting

Hi Mike,

It seems you guys are really on the ball.

Please let me know when the parts arrive and I will come over. I want to have input into the placement of items.

I am out with Swan River Trust tomorrow morning, however if the parts arrive, I can come over Wed afternoon.

Subject: RE: Invoice 7780

Hi Mike,

Thanks for that. Both invoices were printed out here. It seems one supersedes the other.

When do the motor, controls and steering components arrive? No sense bringing the boat down until the parts are there - and also we were hoping to borrow a trailer to use to collect it, so we could see how the trailer looks.

Rob specified that the outboard was to be paid COD and I will do that. I will also pay come in and pay for all the other items purchased, before fitout.

I see the steering is on 'back order' - this is something I try to avoid - what is the backorder status - as we can try some other vendors or other wheels if this is going to be an issue with them providing it. (not a big issue - but there’s nothing worse than waiting weeks and weeks for a supply

of something that could be purchased elsewhere...) I would rather be pro-active on this.

On completion of fitout I would imagine you would invoice me for the fitout cost? I can’t see it taking the amount of time estimated as it’s so little to do in this one, but we will see....? We will also pay COD for the trailer once they arrive.

Thanks for your efficiency, you guys certainly are more professional than most other builders I have worked with (and for).

Regards

Mike

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

The Rottnest Island Authority recently advertised a RFQ for the purchase for new motor’s and trade in of existing motors on our patrol vessel Marine1. The preferred contractor was Portside Marine.

Once the contract had been awarded a week before Christmas Rob and his team at Portside did everything possible to have the vessel ready for pick up the day before ensuring we had the vessel operational for the holiday break. They did finish it and all has worked perfectly since.

The vessel is fitted with two new 200hp Verados making skippering the vessel a pleasure, especially with the electronic gear and throttle controls.

The quality of workmanship in the fitting of the outboards is of a very high standard. During the installation and fit out Rob and his team were very obliging in making sure the placement of instruments and accessories were to our satisfaction. Nothing was too hard and even the most difficult tasks asked by myself were solved with ease.

The after sales support and service received from by Rob Gibellini and his team at Portside Marine has been nothing less than 100%.

I wish Portside Marine the very best in any future business ventures.

Yours sincerely

Re- recent purchase Platinum Allrounder

Esther and I would like to express our thanks to you and your wife for the sale of the Platinum.

I was very pleased during the week prior to buying the Platinum at the time and effort you took out for myself to answer any questions about the boat (some being a ½ hour phone call at 6.30 at night).

Also I would like to add that on the day of the sea trial everything was clearly explained and shown.

What impressed me the most was the manner in which the sea trial was done. There was no rush and in my opinion it was the longest, fastest and most exciting sea trial I had ever been on. I had trialled many boat’s including a 24ft Boston Whaler centre console, a 24ft Kevlacat and a 22ft Mustang, none of which can match the performance and stability wether it was at cruising or full speed. The performance of the Platinum during cornering and over swell proved to me it was by far the best handling boat I have ever been on and the 275 Mariner Verado is by far the quietest and fastest accelerating motor I have ever used.

I would gladly recommend Portside Marine to any one as they don’t rush you into buying what boat they want to sell you. They take the time to listen and help you every step of the way so the end product is a boat you are completely satisfied with in looks, handling, price and performance.

My wife and I are looking forward to many years of service by Portside Marine.

Yours sincerely

Re: Quicksilver Lightning

Robert,

I would like to thank you for the time you spent in showing me the basics of operating, launching and retrieving our new Quicksilver Lightning from Portside Marine.

My wife and I are first time boat buyers and were very nervous about buying a boat especially because of our location here in Leonora.

We completed with you the whole purchase over the internet and your web site, along with emails made the whole process reassuring.

Everything you said would be done, was done and on time, to the agreed costs.

So once again thank you Robert and your team at Portside Marine

RE: Recent purchase of our new boat package

Dear Rob,

Rhonda and I would like to express our thanks to you and your staff for the very professional manner in which the above sale took place. You have helped me fulfil a lifelong dream and made us very happy in the process.

Your attention to detail prior to purchase, answering our numerous questions, keeping us informed of the boat’s progress and follow up service were great. In particular I would like to thank you staff who answered all our queries while you were away. We were also very impressed with the pleasant, friendly and very professional manner in which your company handled the boat trial and handover.

Our boat “Jasspar” has lived up to our expectations. It is a pleasure to use and has impressed all our family members. We are eagerly looking forward to our first trip north in early August and the next crayfish season at Cervantes.

The 115 4 stroke Mariner motor is superb and is a great match for the boat.

We are very pleased with out new boat and would have no hesitation in recommending it and your staff to anyone interested in a similar purchase.

Thank you all for making our purchase such an easy and happy process and we look forward to our future association.

Yours Sincerely
